Am I an employee or an independent contractor?

All positions are 1099 independent contractor roles. This means you are not an employee, taxes are not withheld from payments, and you are responsible for managing your own tax obligations.

Who do I actually work for? Contractors perform work for our partner call center company, which provides the software, clients, and certification training.

Virtual Nexus serves as your support and moderation partner throughout the process.

What equipment do I need?

You must provide:

A reliable desktop or laptop computer High-speed internet connection

A quiet, professional work environment

Specific technical requirements will be provided prior to certification.

Is this a work-from-home position? Yes.

All opportunities are 100% remote. No commuting or vehicle is required.

What is certification and is it required? Yes, certification is required.

The partner company provides structured certification training to ensure you are prepared to service clients successfully.

Virtual Nexus supports you before, during, and after certification.

How do I get paid?

Contractors are paid twice per month through Virtual Nexus payroll services.

Pay periods:

Work performed 1st–15th is paid on or near the last day of the month

Work performed 16th–end of month is paid on or near the 15th of the following month

Payments are issued non-taxed due to 1099 status.

Are there any fees to apply or get started? Virtual Nexus does not charge an application fee.

Any certification-related costs, if applicable, will be clearly disclosed before enrollment.
